Some upholstery is better for the enviroment than others. KFI seating offers a variety of products from upholstery mills that are made with recycled or renewable polyester and have a reduced enviromental impact vs. other fabrics.

 

Life cycle considerations are important when KFI seating developes products...so KFI seating builds to last! All of their products carry at least a 10 year manufacturer frame warranty. They also offer replacment seats, backs and parts. This helps extend the life-cycle and reduce waste.

Manufactured using an emission-free process. this foam is also made with plant based raw materials and organic, hologen-free fire retardants significantly reducing the amount of petroleum-based products.

 

Harvested from sustainable forest - no "old growth" source content. Many seat & back components are made with post consumer wood waste (recycled wood). The components also meet Phase One of the California CARB Standards.
